Power Receptacles and Ground Jacks. Each faceplate can accommodate one Hospital Grade power receptacle or one ground jack. The power receptacles are available in straight blade, single or duplex, and twist-to-lock style. Aluminum or copper ground busbars can also be provided. A 3" length provides six connection points for #14-6 wire range and two outlets for #14-1/10 wire range.
Back Box. The 3-1/2" deep galvanized steel enclosure provides ample room for all field wiring and
termination of incoming services to the various devices. Device mounting flanges on the back box are tapped for #6-32 screws
on 2-1/2" centers. Knockouts at 2-1/2" intervals are also provided on each side of the back box. Barriers are provided as
needed to separate low voltage, emergency, power and gas outlet services.
Front Trim. The clear anodized aluminum fascia is screwed to the back box at the end cap locations.
At assembly, the faceplates slide into place and are an integral part of the fascia extrusion. Enough clearance is
provided so that the faceplate and fascia make it easy to engage any of the devices that have been secured
to the back box.
Medical Gas Outlets can be factory installed. Piping, testing and purging of the system is performed by the mechanical contractor. Slides for vacuum bottles can also be provided. Due to the size of gas outlets and slide bottle brackets, always put a blank cover between devices.
To determine the length of your customized console select the on center spacing you will require and follow the formula. The number of gangs is part of the model number.
