The LabLink LabLight is a streamline LED task lighting for laboratory workbenches. The specially designed polycarbonate lens directs up to 95% of the illumination from white LED workbench lights to the work surface. This feature maximizes light dispersion for uniform task lighting in laboratories and similar applications. The LED diode used in our LabLights does not emit UV rays.
PG LifeLink’s LED Laboratory Light or LabLight is made from 90% recycled materials and Energy Star rated components. The aluminum housing efficiently manages heat from the high power LEDs and stays cool to the touch. The 50,000 hour LED service life makes the LabLight virtually maintenance free.
Power connections on both ends of the fixture allow the “daisy chaining” of up to 10’ of light.
The LabLight is available in seven models ranging in lengths from 15” – 87”. LabLights are easily attached to metal, plastic or wood furniture using a standard magnetic bracket or under shelf screw mounts.

Installation
This product is designed to be mounted in a location about 20” above a work surface, centered over the work area, where it can most effectively illuminate the surface. The LED Task Light may be mounted on the bottom of a cabinet or shelf or inside a cabinet underneath the top surface.
LabLights are easily attached to metal, plastic or wood furniture. For semi-permanent mounting, for metal applications, magnetic brackets are pre-installed (LLMM). For permanent mounting, screw-mount brackets (LLSM) can be provided, which snap into the back of the LabLight. Custom mounting brackets are available at an additional charge.
Route and secure the low-voltage wire from the power supply to the jack at either end of LabLight, following a path that avoids sharp edges, moving parts such as doors, or other features that may damage the cable. Plug the power supply into a receptacle only after wire is routed and secured.
Shorter LabLight units may be connected in a series to make a longer assembly using interconnect cables supplied by PG LifeLink, provided that the maximum light-emitting units per power supply is not exceeded. Each LabLight is marked with the number of light-emitting units. The sum of all these units connected to one power supply must not exceed 10’.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
- Use only insulated staples or plastic ties to secure cords
- Route and secure cords so that they will not be pinched or damaged
- Not intended for recessed installation in ceilings or soffits
- This low voltage portable cabinet light may be installed inside or under a cabinet or other built-in furniture when:
- The low voltage Class 2 power supply is located outside the cabinet and is not concealed
- The line voltage power supply cord is not concealed or run through openings in the cabinet, walls, ceilings, or floors
- This requirement does not apply to the wiring between the cabinet light and the power unit
- The US National Electrical Code (NEC) does not permit cords to be concealed where damage to insulation may go unnoticed
- To prevent fire danger, do not run cord behind walls, ceilings, soffits, or cabinets where it may be inaccessible for examination
- Cords should be visually examined periodically and immediately replaced when any damage is noted
